Nabon is the Site Director for our Chicago facility. Nabon was formerly with Zayo/Latisys where he was the Regional Director for East Coast Operations, having responsibility for all of Zayo's data centers in the East region of the United States. Prior to this, he was with Equinix, Stargate and Emerson/Liebert fulfilling electrical engineering and facility management roles. Nabon served in the U.S. Navy in his early career where he was a nuclear trained electrician aboard a fast-attack submarine.
Toby is the Critical Environment Technician Manager for our Chicago facility. Toby was formerly with Zayo/Latisys where he was the Regional Manager of Engineering, having Engineering responsibility for all of Zayo’s data centers in the East region of the United States. Prior to this, he was involved with the electrical construction and expansions of data centers in the Chicago land area. Early in Toby’s career he went through a five year electrical apprenticeship program through the IBEW.
Hector is the Data Center Operations Manager for our Chicago facility. Hector was formerly with Nexcess where he was the Director of Data Center Operations and has 25 years in the IT and data center fields. Hector is a former QTSer who found his way back home.
Jerry is the Senior Engineer for our Chicago facility. Jerry formerly was with Telx where he worked as the Senior Engineer for both Telx Chicago Locations. Prior to Telx, Jerry has worked in both trading and banking data centers with Citadel and JP Morgan Chase, dealing with everything facility related. Jerry served in the United States Air Force as a Hydraulics Specialist working on the flight line training sortie missions on a daily basis in the AETC (Air Education Training Command).
Art is the Security Operations Manager for the Chicago facility. Art was formerly the Corporate Security Manager at BMO Harris Bank in charge of the Corporate Security Control Center with responsibility for 630 bank branches. Art has been working in the security field for 25 years and is a Veteran who served in the Marines from 1986 to 1990.
Michael is the DCIM Engineer for the Chicago facility. Michael was formerly with The Department of Veterans Affairs where he was a Senior General Engineer in a data center located just west of Chicago. His experience included involvement in many aspects of data center operations: planning, design, maintenance and construction. His career move to QTS ended a 10+ year career with the VA in order to expand his work experience and be part of the team to build QTS Chicago from the ground up.
Bill Winsininski joined the QTS Team as Director of Sales in Chicago in late 2015. Bill is responsible for building and leading the sales team in the Chicago market while driving sales and marketing activities to grow demand for its integrated IT solutions.
Bill joined QTS from ByteGrid Data Center Partners where he was Vice President and General Manager for the Midwest Region. Prior to Bytegrid, Bill was Vice President of Sales for 365 Main responsible for all sales and marketing activities supporting 17 data center properties. Bill is passionate about this industry and specializes in building positive, motivated sales teams.
Bill is a Navy Veteran and served as a Search and Rescue Swimmer during Operation Desert Storm where he was attached to the 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean Sea and Persian Gulf. He is involved in the community and served as Chairman of the Board for the Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce, Board and Founding Member of OnLight Aurora, a not-for-profit fiber provider to help with Economic Development. He also volunteers at the Fox Valley Presbyterian Church.
Chad Williams has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since founding QTS in 2005. Under his leadership, QTS has grown to become one of the largest and fastest growing fully integrated data center service providers in the United States. Chad's vision of obtaining and revitalizing infrastructure rich, large, scalable properties in growing markets has become the cornerstone of our business strategy.
In his role as CEO, Chad has been directly involved helping to build all aspects of our business, from strategic investment in product and asset acquisitions to site selection, design, development and construction. He also enjoys telling the QTS solutions story and winning the confidence and trust of new and existing customers.
